May Newsletter Preview: Indian Heritage Month Highlight
Vauhini Vara was born in Saskatchewan, Canada to Indian immigrants. She grew up in Canada as well as the U.S. She started her journalism career at Wall Street Journal and continued at The New Yorker’s website. She is now promoting her debut novel “The Immortal King Rao“, which depicts a future world run by the Board of Corporations as climate change continues to rage.
The Asian American Writers’ Workshop is holding a celebration in her honor on May 5th, 7:00PM.
