Les Ballet Jazz de Montréal – Dance Me

The Consulate General of Canada in New York partnered the Quebec Government in New York and the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts to support the opening of the 2019-20 season with the Philadelphia premiere performances of Dance Me by Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal. At the opening night performance, there was a reception for the Annenberg Center’s guests, including donors, supporters and key dance industry professionals as well as guests from CNGNY and the Quebec Government Office in New York. Deputy Consul General Khawar Nasim welcomed guests, including Mayor Kenney of Philadelphia, and highlighted Canada and Philadelphia’s connection on many levels—through trade, tourism, business and sports, as well as Canada’s commitment to showcasing its cultural and creative sectors and growing Canada’s cultural profile in Philadelphia.
